RAIL TRACK MAINTENANCE

Our fully qualified team of Permanent Way Inspectors work closely with the Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) and other NI transport subsidiaries such as Northern Ireland Railways and Translink to make sure that the upkeep of our railway infrastructure is at its best.
The services that we specialise in would include the following:
- Installation and renewal of railway track.
- Inspection of the tracks for defects.
- As part of our safety checks we also check that sections of track are the correct distance apart and right height.
- We also install and repair tunnels.
- Maintain embankments.
- Cut back overgrown hedgerows.
- Repair and make sure that all level crossings are working correctly.
- Repair existing bridges and build new bridges.
FULLY QUALIFIED STAFF
We take safety very seriously and for your peace of mind, all of our staff have undertaken and completed all of the appropriate qualifications such as the NEBOSH qualification and hold the Passport to Safety card as well as Personal Track Safety (PTS) card.
We also have staff with various advanced qualifications for Controller of Site Safety (COSS) and RISQS approved contractors.
SIGNALLING MAINTENANCE
Regular Signalling and Telecommunications maintenance carried out by our S & T department saves money as well as eliminating service affecting failures caused by theft, vandalism or general degradation of signalling power cables. Research has proven that periodic testing that is carried out on all cables within the signalling power supply system prevent the interruption of train services, particularly on the busiest routes.
We offer Signalling Maintenance Services that include the maintenance of: Signalling systems which are essential for the safe and speedy movement of trains & Telecommunication systems
TELECOMMUNICATION MAINTENANCE
Telecommunications Maintenance Services are a vital part of managing any transportation network and some of the telecommunication services we offer include:
- Fibre Optic and Quad cable based Communication circuits
- Intranet Support
- OFC system provides ‘control’ and ‘administrative’ trunk circuits with STD
- Block instruments, gate telephones and emergency sockets.
